Mary Ann, Physiotherapist at California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center, Dubai
Mary Ann has always had a fascination with how the body overcomes injury and returns to full function, after seeing how her brother recovered from a Radial Fracture when they were young children.
Pursuing her interest, she graduated from Tanchuling College in Philippines with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. She immediately worked closely with patients suffering from orthopedic/ musculoskeletal/ sports and neurologic rehabilitation needs in different hospital settings.
She moved to Dubai gaining additional experience, and worked at Lifeline Hospital, Jebel Ali, for a decade.
Joining California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center opened a great opportunity of continuous practice and learning and she also attended courses/training for HVLAT (High-Velocity low amplitude in Dubai, Short-course for shoulder assessment and Treatment (Saint-Thomas Hospital), Central London, UK, Trainers Methodology course for Pediatric/Geriatric Care, Live-In Caregiver Program, Canada and other various exercise therapy trainings in Dubai.
For her, learning is a never-ending process.
Mary Ann is passionate about helping people and looks forward to meeting and helping new patients on their journey towards recovery.
